Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated, skilled cook to join our team. This role involves providing food service, preparing meals, and ensuring compliance with food safety standards. Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of menu items according to established recipes and standards
- Handle food safely, adhering to all health and safety regulations
- Assist with meal preparation, including chopping, assembling, and plating dishes
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces
- Follow food safety protocols to prevent contamination and ensure quality control
- Manage inventory levels, restock supplies, and assist with ordering ingredients as needed
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service and customer satisfaction
Experience
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments is preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food handling procedures
- Familiarity with food safety standards and best practices in the food industry
- Experience with meal preparation, serving, and maintaining cleanliness in a commercial kitchen setting is advantageous
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Familiarity with Lebanese cuisine
