We are seeking a Fund Development Associate to play a key role in advancing fundraising and community engagement efforts. Reporting to the Manager of Community Relations, this position manages a portfolio of donors, coordinates scholarship and grant activities, and supports events, campaigns, and donor communications. The role is well-suited for someone who thrives in building relationships, is detail-oriented, and is motivated by purpose-driven work.
- Manage and steward a portfolio of entry-to-mid-level donors, including scholarship contributors.
- Conduct prospect research, donor engagement, reporting, and recognition.
- Support fundraising campaigns, events, and proposal writing.
- Maintain donor database accuracy and track fundraising progress.
- Assist with volunteer coordination and corporate engagement initiatives.
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve fundraising goals and community impact.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3–5 years of fundraising or business development experience, preferably in a non-profit environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presentation and public speaking.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Comfortable with donor engagement and making fundraising asks.
- Experience using donor databases and Microsoft Office Suite.
