Operating from two production facilities totaling approximately 20,000 sq. ft., the company is recognized for delivering high-quality custom millwork and furniture solutions to a wide range of clients.
Position Overview
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Millwork Designer to join the Cabinet Shop team. This position involves managing projects from the design phase through fabrication and final installation. The ideal candidate will have strong drafting skills, experience with custom millwork and furniture design, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare preliminary drawings for client review and approval
- Create detailed shop drawings for production once designs are approved
- Select and specify appropriate materials for each project
- Monitor project timelines and ensure all drawings and deliverables are completed on schedule
- Revise and update drawings during production to reflect accurate project changes and as-built conditions
- Complete detailed material take-offs and submit them to the Purchasing Manager
- Ensure all approved drawings remain unchanged unless authorized by the Supervisor
- Submit finalized drawing packages to the Shop Supervisor for review before material ordering
- Oversee projects from concept to installation while maintaining design accuracy and consistency
- Incorporate custom furniture design elements into project plans as required
Qualifications
- Previous experience in millwork, cabinetry, or custom furniture design preferred
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, Mozaik, or similar drafting and design software
- Strong technical drafting abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of millwork manufacturing processes, materials, and construction methods is considered an asset
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience using Mozaik (required)
- Minimum 1 year of experience using AutoCAD (required)
- Minimum 1 year of furniture design experience (required)

Pay: $45,000.00-$52,000.00 per year
