We are looking for a Warehouse Shipper/Receiver to join our team!
Job Description
- Know our product. We value our customer(s) time – we get it right the first time.
o Responsible for completing paperwork correctly and completely for both receiving and shipping (packing slips/receiving logs, delivery slips, shipping logs, press paperwork, etc.)
o Operating a forklift
o Receiving stock, shipping orders
o Serving customers for pick up orders.
o Accurately interpreting packing slips and order sheets
o Pull materials, packaging and labeling appropriately
o Assist in inventory counting and reconciliation
- Responsible for proper palletizing of orders. (safely stacking, strapping, wrapping, labelling)
- Responsible for inspecting and unloading product, unwrapping, counting and receiving incoming stock
- Must ensure product is neatly put away, counted properly and entered in logs
- Responsible for ensuring loading docks and warehouse are neat and clean
- Forklift maintenance and maintaining logs.
- Responsible for ensuring photos are taken of each order and all incoming containers and deliveries.
- Contributes to team effort and completes other duties as required or assigned
Qualifications
o 1+ years' experience in a fast-paced Shipping and Receiving environment an asset
o Ability to lift 50lbs
o Forklift Certification an Asset
o Strong mathematical skills
o Experience with warehouse equipment
o Attention to safety, quality and detail is a requirement in this position
o Excellent people skills, a can-do attitude and the ability to improve processes are beneficial.
o You are cooperative and reliable. You will come to work and give us your best every day.
