Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and efficient Dishwasher/Kitchen Helper to support our culinary team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment, ensuring smooth food service operations. Duties
- Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to ensure cleanliness and readiness for use
- Assist with meal preparation and food service tasks as needed, supporting chefs and kitchen staff
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, floors, and storage areas to uphold health and safety standards
- Help with food handling procedures following proper safety protocols
- Support in organizing supplies and stock to ensure efficient kitchen operations
- Follow food safety guidelines and proper sanitation practices at all times
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks under supervision to support meal service
Skills
- Experience or familiarity with cooking, meal preparation, or food handling is preferred
- Previous restaurant or food service experience is a plus but not required
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong teamwork skills and willingness to assist others in the kitchen
- Good communication skills and reliability in completing assigned tasks
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting or moving items as needed
