Overview
We are a friendly and professional dental clinic committed to providing high quality patient care in a welcoming environment. We are currently looking for a reliable, organized, and motivated Dental Assistant to join our team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about healthcare and looking to grow within the dental field. Prior experience with dental software and procedures is preferred, but training will be provided for the right candidate.
Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments to ensure a clean and safe environment
- Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, including exams, cleanings, restorations, and orthodontic treatments
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) using CAD technology when necessary
- Manage patient records using dental software Abeldent ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care
- Schedule appointments, confirm patient visits, and handle administrative tasks related to patient flow
- Maintain inventory of dental supplies and order materials as neededSkills
- Proficiency in dental software such as Dentrix, Epic, and CAD systems for imaging and record keeping
- Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages, including pediatrics
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in record management and clinical tasks
- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar healthcare role is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates
- Familiarity with dental assisting techniques, sterilization protocols, and patient care standards
- Manage appointment flow and support front desk tasks when needed.

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
