Atlantic Evershine Ltd. is currently seeking dependable, motivated, and detail-oriented Full-Time and Part-Time Janitorial Cleaners to join our growing team.
We provide professional commercial and industrial cleaning services throughout the Halifax Regional Municipality and surrounding areas. If you're reliable, take pride in your work, and enjoy working independently, we'd love to hear from you.
Position Details
Available Positions:
Schedule:
Various daytime, evening, and weekend shifts available depending on the site.
Locations:
Multiple commercial and industrial facilities throughout HRM and surrounding communities.
Wage:
Competitive hourly wages based on experience, assigned site, and position.
Responsibilities
- General commercial and janitorial cleaning
- Cleaning offices, washrooms, lunchrooms, and common areas
- Dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors
- Emptying garbage and recycling
- Sanitizing high-touch surfaces
- Restocking washroom and kitchen supplies
- Following site-specific cleaning procedures
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and professional work environment
Some positions may require work within industrial facilities and completion of additional safety training.
Qualifications
We're looking for individuals who are:
- Reliable and punctual
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Detail-oriented with a strong work ethic
- Professional and dependable
- Physically capable of performing cleaning duties throughout each shift
Requirements
- Previous commercial or janitorial cleaning experience is considered an asset but is not required.
- Reliable transportation is an asset, as some sites are not accessible by public transit.
- Ability to obtain a clean Criminal Record Check for sites where required.
- Willingness to complete company-provided training, including WHMIS and any required site-specific safety orientations.
- Legally entitled to work in Canada.
