Role
We’re hiring a part time Line Cook – Sushi & Kitchen Prep with availability to work 25-35 hours per week including week day and weekend evenings.
This role involves food prep, handling seafood, operating fryers/rice cookers, assisting sushi chefs, and maintaining kitchen cleanliness. For the right candidate, there is growth into sushi preparation and chef responsibilities.

RAW – Japanese Hand Roll Bar is Calgary’s first Japanese hand roll bar, opened in 2024. We are a small, locally owned team serving contemporary Japanese cuisine in a fast-paced, supportive, and growth-focused environment.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of kitchen experience
- Food Handler certification
- Fluent English (spoken & written)
- Knife skills
- Prior Japanese cuisine or seafood prep is an asset
