We’re looking for an experienced, compassionate, and energetic Veterinary Assistant who’s ready to jump in and become an essential part of our close-knit crew.
What You’ll Do:
- Provide hands-on support to our veterinarians and RVTs during exams, treatments, surgeries, dentistry, and emergencies
- Handle compassionate patient care – restraint, monitoring, sample collection, and lab work
- Deliver exceptional client service at the front desk: greeting clients, checking pets in/out, answering phones, scheduling appointments, and educating owners
- Keep accurate medical records
- Process payments, manage invoices, and ensure smooth daily flow
- Maintain hospital cleanliness, sterilization standards, and inventory
- Be a positive team player who helps wherever needed
What You Bring:
- Solid previous experience as a Veterinary Assistant
- Strong animal handling skills and a genuine passion for patient care
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to stay calm and efficient in a busy, sometimes emotional environment
- Comfort with computers and multitasking
- Reliability, positive attitude, and a team-first mindset
Veterinary Assistant program completion is a plus, but hands-on experience is what matters most.
