Overview
We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented Journeyman / Apprentice Plumbers to join our dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in plumbing, HVAC systems, and construction projects while working on a variety of commercial and multi-residential installations. Whether you are just starting your career or have experience in the field, this position provides hands-on training and the chance to advance your expertise.
Duties
Assist in the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation and troubleshooting.
Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy lifting techniques safely and efficiently.
Perform routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues related to leaks, blockages, or system failures.
Support the assembly of plumbing components using carpentry skills and schematic diagrams.
Contribute to HVAC system maintenance by understanding basic mechanical principles and schematics.
Participate in construction projects by following safety protocols and adhering to project timelines.
Experience
Previous experience in construction or plumbing is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidates. Our Journeyman are expected to grow their knowledge and mentor our apprentices - where we all benefit as a team and company.
Strong mechanical knowledge with an understanding of HVAC systems and general maintenance practices.
Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, and basic math for measurements and calculations.
Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly processes.
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining proper technique
Knowledge of plumbing codes, safety standards, and best practices in construction environments.
Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward learning and problem-solving.
