Master’s Academy & College is an alternative Christian school located in Southwest Calgary.
Our school is seeking a dependable and friendly cafeteria attendant, with an active Christian faith, to assist with the daily operations of our cafeteria. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the cafeteria is clean and organized, serving food to students and staff, handling transactions, and assisting in our hot lunch delivery program.
Start Date:
Training: Two days to be scheduled between August 24 and August 28, 2026
Regular Hours Begin: August 31, 2026
Work Schedule:
11 hrs/week (limited hours worked in summer months and school breaks).
Monday - 10:30 am - 1:30 pm
Thursday - 9:00 am - 1:30 pm
Friday - 10:30 am - 2:00 pm
Rate: $21/hour.
Responsibilities:
- Handle time-sensitive food preparation and service effectively
- Efficiently process POS transactions
- Serve food and beverages to students and staff in a friendly and efficient manner
- Clean and maintain the cafeteria
- Ensure all food is prepared/served in compliance with health and safety regulations
- Help load and organize HOT lunch delivery system
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Food Safety Handling Certificate (or can take the course within allotted time frame)
- Highly proficient with POS systems
- Able to work at a high pace
- Can multitask/pivot to many roles within the day
- Excellent customer service skills
- Able to stand on feet for long periods and lift up to 30lbs
- Police Information Check with Vulnerable Sector Search
- Child Intervention Record Check completed upon hire
- Statement of faith
