Main Responsibilities:
Major responsibilities will include but not limited to:

Prepare ocean export sales quotations
-
Prioritize rate requests by urgency
-
Follow up on quotes and track progress
-
Assist freight operations as needed, including booking, re-routing, tracking, delivery, and billing
-
Other tasks and duties assigned from time to time by the Manager
-
Interact and work with remote freight teams daily
-
Stay abreast current and upcoming regulations
-
Maintain excellent relations with clients and agent
Main Requirements:
-
At least 3 years’ experience in the freight forwarding industry
-
Excellent working knowledge of export and import freight movements
-
CIFFA certified is an asset
-
Knowledge of Steamship line and NVOCC contracts and other online pricing tools
-
Proficiency with computers is a must; advanced knowledge of Excel
-
Solid communication skills (French written and verbal are assets).

Strong organization skills and is detailed oriented

Must be a pro-active and solutions-focused team player

Ability to prioritize time effectively
