We are seeking dependable and hardworking Truss Production Assemblers to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will assemble wood roof and floor trusses according to engineered drawings, ensuring products meet quality and safety standards. This position requires attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to teamwork.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble roof and floor trusses according to production drawings and specifications.
- Measure, position, and secure lumber components accurately.
- Operate hand tools, pneumatic tools, and other production equipment safely.
- Install metal connector plates.
- Inspect materials and finished products to ensure quality standards are met.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Work collaboratively with supervisors and team members to meet daily production goals.
- Assist with loading, staging, and moving materials as needed.
- Report equipment issues, damaged materials, or safety concerns promptly.
Qualifications
- Previous manufacturing, construction, carpentry, or truss assembly experience is an asset but not required.
- Ability to read a tape measure accurately.
- Ability to interpret basic production drawings and work instructions (training provided if needed).
- Comfortable using hand and power tools.
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Frequently lift and carry up to 50 lbs (23 kg).
- Repetitive bending, reaching, twisting, and lifting.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures, dust, and noise.
- Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Shifts Available: Day (5:30am-2:30pm), Night (2:30pm-12:00am)
Pay: $22.00 per hour
