Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Electrical Apprentice (2nd or 3rd year) to join our team. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various projects, ensuring safety and compliance with industry standards. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in commercial electrical work, strong technical knowledge, with solar installation experience as an asset. This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects, from renovation to new construction, utilizing a wide range of electrical skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in diverse commercial environments.
- Read and interpret blueprints, circuit diagrams, and electrical code specifications.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose complex electrical issues efficiently and safely.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-first workspace.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Certification: Level 2 minimum
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of hands-on commercial electrical experience.
- Skills: Strong understanding of current electrical codes, excellent troubleshooting abilities, and top-tier workmanship.
- Attributes: Reliability, strong communication skills, a team-player attitude, and a commitment to job site safety.
- Must-Haves: Valid driver’s license with a clean abstract and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
