We are currently seeking an inside Technical Sales Specialist for a permanent full-time position.
Responsibilities:
· Respond to customer inquiries.
· Read and translate customer technical specifications.
· Provide priced quotes as well as general technical support and advice on product options.
· Communicate specific product requirements with internal workshop, production and engineering teams.
· Support procurement department with material forecasting, maintaining stock levels etc. as required.
· Liaise with clients on product delivery fulfillment.
· Identify future product opportunities.
Requirements:
· Post-secondary education/experience in electronics related discipline (engineering/technology professionals, electricians, site operators etc. encouraged to apply)
· Must possess the ability to read and understand schematics and electrical/instrument drawings and diagrams
· Previous work experience in sales is an asset
· Mechanical aptitude and experience in manufacturing is an asset
· Familiarity and/or established professional network in North American Oil and Gas/Energy/Engineering/Construction markets are an asset.
· Working experience with power systems, power electronics, power supplies, inverters, battery chargers and batteries is an asset
