Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper/Administrative Assistant to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining accurate financial records, managing administrative tasks, and providing exceptional customer support. The ideal candidate will have strong office experience, proficiency with accounting and office software, and excellent communication skills. Responsibilities
- Manage bookkeeping tasks using Jonas, including invoicing, expense tracking, and financial record keeping
- Perform data entry with high accuracy to ensure all financial and administrative information is current
- Handle front desk duties such as greeting visitors, answering multi-line phone systems, and managing incoming calls with professional phone etiquette
- Maintain organized filing systems for both digital and paper documents, including medical or dental office records if applicable
- Assist with administrative support tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and preparing correspondence
- Support customer service efforts by addressing client inquiries and providing support via phone or email
- Proofread documents for accuracy and clarity before distribution or filing
- Support medical or dental office operations if relevant, including patient check-in/out procedures and insurance documentation
Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) as well as Google Workspace tools
- Strong computer skills with the ability to learn new software quickly
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Experience in clerical roles with familiarity in filing systems and data management
- Exceptional customer service skills with professional phone etiquette and support experience
- Accurate typing skills with attention to detail for data entry and proofreading tasks
- Previous administrative experience in an office setting, especially within medical or dental practices is a plus
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently while maintaining a high level of professionalism
Pay: $52,000.00-$58,000.00 per year
