Job Description
Under the direction of the General Manager, we are looking for a Server Assistant at Lower Deck, responsible for supporting the service team and ensuring a seamless flow of service and overall cleanliness of the restaurant.
What you will be doing as a Server Assistant:
- Cleaning and resetting tables quickly and efficiently;
- Maintaining cleanliness at tables during service (removing plates, glassware, cutlery and debris);
- Restocking bar supplies (liquor, beer, wine, garnishes, glassware, etc.);
- Keeping bar stations clean and organized;
- Communicating to all servers any comments or information provided by guests to ensure a positive, memorable experience;
- Keenly following all food safety standards and systems;
- Such other similar or related duties as may be required from time to time.
The person we are looking for has:
- A valid Serve Right Certification;
- Previous experience in a similar restaurant is considered an asset;
- Ability to remain calm under pressure while working in a fast-paced environment;
- Organizational skills;
- Ability to take direction and prioritize a variety of tasks at once;
- Strong oral communication skills.
