ALCO Energy Solutions designs, fabricates, and assembles oil and gas processing equipment for the domestic and global market. Alco is seeking B-Pressure Welders with spooling experience to work within our production facility.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Reporting to the department foreman, the successful candidate’s duties include, but are not limited to:
- The ability to use tools and equipment safely, while abiding by the health and safety rules
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area, and helping others maintain their work area
- Basic fabrication experience and skill set with pressure vessel manufacturing
- Welding of pressure vessels
- Fitment of pressure vessels to meet drawing and code requirements
- Working at heights is required, training will be provided
Preferred Skills:
In this role, the successful candidates will have:
- 3+ years of experience in welding and fabrication of pressure vessels and spooling
- Pre-test required to be passed
- Ability to weld with the following practices: SMAW and GMAW
- Ability to perform well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Excellent communication, attitude, collaborative skills and ability to follow directions
- Ability to lift up to 60lbs, work at heights, be agile and able to go on/off equipment, up/down ladders
Working Conditions:
- You will work in a large manufacturing facility with other trades present
- Longer than 10.0 hour work days may be required with short notice, must be available to work weekends when needed
