Forklift Operator – Crown Reach & Counterbalance (Night Shift)
Location: Milton, ON
Pay Rate: $25.87/hour
Shift: Monday to Friday, 9:00 PM – 5:30 AM
Employment Type: Temporary (ongoing through the end of the year with potential extension)

Fuze HR is currently seeking an experienced and certified Crown Reach & Counterbalance Forklift Operator to join the Shipping & Receiving team. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a respected manufacturer offering competitive pay and a stable night shift.
Responsibilities
*
Operate Crown Reach forklifts (approximately 80%) and Electric Counterbalance forklifts (approximately 20%).
*
Load, unload, and move finished products, ingredients, and packaging materials throughout the facility.
*
Perform put-aways and replenish production materials as required.
*
Safely load and unload trailers while following all company safety procedures.
*
Complete pallet inspections to ensure products are properly labeled and free of damage.
*
Use the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to accurately record inventory movements.
*
Support production by staging ingredients and packaging materials.
*
Operate an apple peeling machine when required (full training provided).
*
Assist the production team with general warehouse duties as needed.
*
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
*
Follow all food safety and quality standards, including GMP, HACCP, and workplace safety procedures.
Qualifications
*
Valid certification for both Crown Reach and Electric Counterbalance forklifts.
*
Minimum 2 years of recent, hands-on experience operating both Crown Reach and Counterbalance forklifts.
*
Experience in shipping and receiving or warehouse operations.
*
Comfortable working in cooler and freezer environments.
*
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs when required.
*
Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
*
Previous food manufacturing or food warehouse experience is considered an asset but is not required.
*
Must be able to communicate effectively in English.
*
Must successfully complete a forklift skills assessment upon arrival.
*
Clear criminal background check required.
