Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic team. This role involves supporting warehouse operations, including order fulfillment, shipping and receiving, and heavy equipment operation. The ideal candidate will have warehouse experience and familiarity with various warehouse management systems, ensuring efficient and safe handling of goods within a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts to load, unload, and move materials safely and efficiently
- Assist with order picking, packing, and packaging to ensure accurate order fulfillment
- Manage shipping and receiving processes, including verifying incoming and outgoing shipments
- Utilize warehouse management systems like Pacific Solutions for inventory tracking and documentation
- Conduct heavy lifting tasks to handle products or materials weighing up to specified limits
- Support manufacturing or construction-related activities as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency
- Load and unload materials using appropriate equipment while adhering to safety protocols
Skills
- Proven experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, cranes, or order pickers
- Strong knowledge of warehouse distribution processes including shipping & receiving, order fulfillment, and packaging
- Mechanical knowledge related to warehouse machinery and equipment operation
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems like Pacific Solutions or similar platforms is a bonus
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Experience in flooring or construction environments is a plus
- Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and best practices for heavy equipment operation
- Prior warehouse experience including order picking, load & unload activities, and inventory management is preferred
