We are seeking a reliable, motivated, and detail-oriented Part-Time Houseperson to support the Housekeeping Department in maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and overall presentation of our guest rooms and public areas. The Houseperson plays an essential role in ensuring Room Attendants have the supplies and assistance they need to deliver exceptional service while maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment throughout the hotel.

Deliver clean linens, towels, guest room amenities, and housekeeping supplies to Room Attendants throughout the shift.
Prepare and replenish housekeeping carts before and during each shift.
Collect, sort, and transport soiled linens and garbage from guest floors to designated areas.
Maintain the cleanliness and organization of housekeeping closets, storage rooms, and service areas.
Vacuum hallways, clean elevators, stairwells, and other public and back-of-house areas as assigned.
Assist with the setup and breakdown of rollaway beds, cribs, and other guest requests.
Respond promptly to housekeeping and guest requests in a courteous and professional manner.
Assist Room Attendants with heavy lifting, furniture movement, deep cleaning projects, and special cleaning assignments.
Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, and damaged equipment to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are properly maintained, stored, and used safely.
Follow all health, safety, WHMIS, and infection prevention procedures.
Promote teamwork through effective communication and coordination with Housekeeping, Front Office, Engineering, and other hotel departments.
Assist with laundry operations when required.
Report and turn in all lost and found items in accordance with hotel procedures.
Maintain high standards of cleanliness, professionalism, and guest service at all times.
Perform other duties as assigned while following all Company policies and Marriott Brand Standards.
Previous housekeeping or hotel experience is considered an asset but is not required.
Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform physical tasks throughout an entire shift.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Positive attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
