Wilco Contractors Southwest is hiring an Experienced/Qualified, Class 3 Water Truck Drivers who lives in the Canmore and or surrounding areas to work on our local projects.
Responsibilities may include but are not limited;
- Dust Control and various duties on large scale Civil Construction, Earthworks and Landscape Projects.
- Load, transport and unload water with tri-drive and tandem water trucks
- Water work areas for dust suppression and soil compaction
- Fill water tanks (must be comfortable with small amounts of labour work using hoses, pumps, attachments, hydrants etc).
- Complete pre-trip inspections, time logs and vehicle inspection logs daily.
- Must be able to read city maps/GPS and follow planned routes.
- Maintain and clean the vehicle on a regular basis.
- Able to work on weekends as required.
- Ability to report to Supervisor on a daily basis.
Qualifications;
- Class 3 Drivers License / Q Endorsement (or provincial equivalent) with no more than six demerits, or charges pending.
- Air Brakes
- Previous experience with driving Water Trucks, Vac Trucks and equipment, construction work or landscape work would be considered an asset.
- Experience driving a 1 or 3 ton truck carrying liquids.
- Must be able to drive manual.

Pay: $26.00-$31.00 per hour
