About the Role:
LIVunLtd is seeking a dynamic and experienced Fitness & Wellness Centre Coordinator to join our professional team in Ridgetown, ON. This new full-time position is scheduled to begin in July 2, 2026. We’re looking for a motivated leader with a strong background in fitness and wellness, certified as a group exercise instructor, and passionate about delivering exceptional programming and service to members, guests, and staff.
Key responsibilities:
Engagement & Outreach
- Actively engage with employees at the college to promote wellness initiatives and encourage participation in the Wellness Centre.
Membership Management
- Oversee the membership database, including processing new memberships, renewals, and cancellations.
- Implement strategies to grow and retain membership.
Programming
- Design and implement engaging wellness programming such as Lunch & Learns, workshops, fitness challenges, stretch breaks, and special events.
Group Exercise
- Develop and manage a group exercise schedule that aligns with member needs and interests.
- Personally instruct a minimum of 2 group fitness classes per week.
- Supervise and coordinate contract group fitness instructors.
Personal Training
- Manage and promote a personal training program.
- Conduct personal training sessions outside of regular scheduled hours, as needed.
Budget Oversight
- Monitor and manage budget compliance.
- Assist in financial reporting and invoice preparation.
Customer Service & Facility Support
- Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting members, conducting orientations, and providing fitness consultations.
- Ensure a safe, welcoming, and professional workout environment.
Facility & Client Relations
- Communicate facility needs and maintenance issues to the appropriate contacts.
- Foster and maintain a positive, professional relationship with the client, serving as the on-site operational liaison.
Qualifications:
- Degree or diploma in Physical Education, Health Promotion, Kinesiology.
- Current nationally recognized group exercise certification(s)
- Current CPR and Standard First Aid certification
- Nationally recognized Personal training certification (CSEP, CanFitPro, OFC or equivalent) is a strong asset
- Demonstrated experience in delivering high-quality customer service
- Professional, enthusiastic demeanor
