Lounge Supervisor - Vintage 101 @ Festac Lounge
Festac Lounge is entering an exciting new chapter as it rebrands into Vintage 101—an innovative restaurant, lounge, and nightlife destination designed to deliver exceptional dining, elevated entertainment, and unforgettable guest experiences. Blending modern hospitality with a vibrant social atmosphere, Vintage 101 offers premium cuisine, handcrafted cocktails, live entertainment, and curated events that bring people together.
We are seeking an experienced, energetic, and customer-focused Lounge Supervisor to help lead our lounge operations and create an exceptional nightlife experience for every guest.
Position Summary
The Lounge Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the lounge during assigned shifts, ensuring outstanding customer service, efficient operations, and a safe, welcoming atmosphere. This role provides hands-on leadership to bartenders, servers, hosts, security personnel, and support staff while maintaining service standards and supporting the management team.
Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Team Management
- Supervise and support bartenders, lounge servers, hosts, security personnel, and support staff during each shift.
- Lead pre-shift meetings to communicate daily priorities, reservations, VIP bookings, promotions, and entertainment schedules.
- Coach, mentor, and motivate team members to deliver exceptional guest service.
- Assist with onboarding and training new employees.
- Promote a positive, respectful, and collaborative workplace culture.
Lounge Operations
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the lounge, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
- Monitor guest flow, seating arrangements, VIP sections, and reservations.
- Ensure the lounge is clean, organized, and maintained to the highest standards throughout service.
- Coordinate with the kitchen, bar, DJs, entertainers, and security team to ensure seamless operations.
- Support opening, closing, and shift change procedures.
Guest Experience
- Deliver an exceptional hospitality experience and lead by example.
- Welcome guests and assist with VIP service when required.
- Resolve guest concerns and complaints professionally and efficiently.
- Build strong relationships with guests to encourage repeat business and customer loyalty.
- Monitor the overall atmosphere, ensuring guests enjoy a safe, vibrant, and memorable experience.
Staff Performance
- Monitor employee attendance, punctuality, and performance during shifts.
- Provide coaching and constructive feedback to team members.
- Report performance concerns and operational issues to management.
- Encourage teamwork and recognize outstanding employee performance.
Compliance & Safety
- Ensure compliance with Ontario health and safety regulations, liquor licensing requirements, and workplace policies.
- Verify Smart Serve standards are consistently followed.
- Work closely with security staff to maintain a safe environment for guests and employees.
- Ensure responsible alcohol service and assist in managing intoxicated guests in accordance with company policies.
- Monitor cash handling and POS procedures.
Inventory & Administrative Support
- Assist with beverage inventory counts and stock replenishment.
- Report maintenance issues, equipment concerns, and operational needs to management.
- Complete shift reports, incident reports, and communicate key updates to management.
Qualifications Experience
- Minimum 2–5 years of supervisory experience in a lounge, bar, restaurant, nightclub, or hospitality environment.
- Experience in high-volume nightlife operations is preferred.
- Previous experience supervising front-of-house teams.

- First Aid/CPR Certification (asset).

Working Conditions
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and late-night shifts.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs as required.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant and nightlife environment.
