Job Description:
- Operating forklifts and front-end loader with forks to move materials and wagons around the plant.
- Unloading and receiving of inbound materials.
- Coordinate material movement with department supervisors.
- Picking, organizing, and staging of materials for production.
- Entering transactions and maintaining inventory data in the ERP system (Microsoft Dynamics NAV).
- Performing stock transfers between the warehouse and floor stock locations.
- Preparing purchase requisitions to replenish stock.
- Perform cycle counts on inventory as required.
- Pick, prepare, and stage orders to be shipped.
- Receive all incoming parts and material inbound to the facility. (Shipper/ Receiver)
- Performing daily inspections on material handling equipment and performing minor maintenance (greasing, refueling, etc.).
Job Requirements:
- Completion of secondary school required.
- 3 years of work experience in a warehouse role.
- 5 years experience operating forklifts and heavy equipment (loader with fork attachment).
- Work experience in a trade (welding, machining) an asset.
Skills Requirements:
- Keen attention to detail and tidiness a must.
- Proficient in mathematics.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and assign priorities.
- Strong understanding of inventory management systems.
- Able to lift 50 lbs unassisted.
