We are looking for a Portfolio Lead, Digital Fundraising who will play a key role in supporting United Way’s integrated donor growth and fundraising efforts through digital campaign execution, optimization, reporting, and coordination.
In this role you will play an important part in helping to bridge strategy and execution across annual fundraising campaigns, digital donor journeys, email fundraising, paid and organic channels, web experiences, and performance tracking. Working closely with the Manager, Integrated Fundraising and Campaigns, your role will support operational delivery and optimization of integrated fundraising initiatives that strengthen donor engagement, improve conversion, and support revenue growth.
You are highly organized, analytical, collaborative, and comfortable working across multiple campaigns, systems, and stakeholders in a fast-paced nonprofit environment.
This position will report to the Portfolio Manager, Integrated Fundraising and Campaigns. This role will not have Supervisory responsibility.
The Day to Day:
Digital Fundraising
- Optimizes digital fundraising experiences including donation pages, campaign pages, email journeys, and fundraising forms.
- Collaborates with content, social, and creative team members to ensure aligned and integrated campaign execution.
- Supports implementing United Way’s digital fundraising strategy.
Optimization
- Monitors fundraising performance metrics and help identify optimization opportunities.
- Supports A/B testing, QA, and continuous improvement efforts.
Administration and Coordination
- Coordinates with external fundraising, advertising, and digital partners and assists with digital fundraising analytics, conversion tracking, and campaign measurement setup.
- Collaborates with internal teams to support campaign execution and reporting alignment.
About you:
It’s important to us that you understand the importance of relationships and how it impacts all our work, resulting in operating with a strong customer service focus. You possess knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce systems, Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics and Advanced knowledge of Canva and WordPress.
Experience with fundraising platforms like Fundraise Up is considered an asset.
You demonstrate the ability to think creatively and develop innovative ideas, analyze and interpret information, make decisions, make recommendations, and solve problems.
Strong verbal and written communication, and facilitation skills are essential and ability to adapt and demonstrate flexibility when faced with changing priorities, unforeseen challenges, and/or juggling multiple tasks.
You demonstrate accountability and strive for operational excellence and maintain confidentiality.
Your background includes a post-secondary degree in Business or Marketing and other relevant experience will be considered, plus a minimum of two (2) to three (3) years related experience. A combination of education and experience will be considered.
A valid driver’s license and vehicle are required as some travel will be involved within Edmonton and surrounding area.
