We are looking to hire a permanent, full time educator.
Key Accountabilities:
- Ensure the safety of all children in the centre
- Abide by all Operating Manual and Abuse Protocols
- Develop and implement emergent based programming on a weekly basis
- Meet the emotional, social, physical and cognitive needs of each child
- Maintain a daily open communication with parents on their child’s development
- Record anecdotal records for learning stories
- Maintain confidentiality of the children and staff
- Report any suspected incidents of abuse to the Director/Assistant Director
- Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the class room
- Attend mandatory staff meetings
- Maintain daily records and any paperwork associated with the age group
- Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules
Daily Expectations:
- A passion for working with children
- Daily records (ex: Daily information sheets, attendance records and cleaning schedule
- Ensure outdoor play is a minimum of two hours a day
- Following the NB Curriculum Frameworks
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.47-$25.35 per hour
