Overview
Reporting to VP of Operations, the Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing all operational activities across, cannabis processing, extract production, fulfillment, packaging, warehousing, facilities management, and security functions within licensed cannabis operations.
This role provides strategic and operational leadership to ensure all departments operate efficiently, safely, and in compliance with Health Canada Cannabis Regulations, Good Production Practices (GPP), GMP standards, SOPs, and internal quality expectations. The Operations Manager is accountable for operational performance, productivity, compliance, facility management, inventory control, workforce leadership, continuous improvement, and cross-functional coordination across the organization.
The Operations Manager plays a key leadership role in driving operational excellence, scalability, cost control, employee development, and production efficiency while maintaining a strong culture of safety, accountability, compliance, and teamwork.
Qualification/Education
· Post-secondary education in Operations Management, Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Manufacturing, or related field preferred
· 5-7+ years f progressive operational leadership experience within manufacturing, cannabis, pharmaceutical, food production, or regulated industries
· Minimum 5 years of leadership experience managing multi-department operations teams
· Strong understanding of Health Canada Cannabis Regulations, GPP, GMP, and SOP compliance requirements
· Experience overseeing production, fulfillment, facilities, maintenance, and warehouse operations
· Experience with budgeting, forecasting, labour planning, and operational KPI management
· Experience with ERP systems, inventory management systems, and operational reporting tools

Pay: $90,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
