Job Summary
We are seeking a Red Seal Automotive Technician to join our service team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair, maintenance, and diagnostics, with the ability to work efficiently and accurately. This role involves diagnosing vehicle issues, performing repairs, and ensuring customer satisfaction through quality workmanship. Prior dealership experience and mechanic skills are highly valued for this position. The Automotive Technician will play a key role in maintaining the safety and reliability of our customers' vehicles while adhering to industry standards and safety protocols.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose vehicle problems using schematics, diagnostic tools, and mechanical knowledge
- Perform repairs including engine work, brake service, suspension, and electrical systems
- Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid replacements
- Use hand tools, power tools, and assembly techniques to complete repairs
- Follow manufacturer specifications and safety guidelines during all repair procedures
- Maintain detailed records of work performed and parts used for each vehicle
- Assist with vehicle inspections and ensure all work meets quality standards
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot complex issues and improve repair processes
- Ensure a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency
Skills
- Proven dealership or mechanic experience with automotive repair and maintenance
- Strong mechanical knowledge of various vehicle systems
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and schematics interpretation
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during repairs or parts handling
- Experience with vehicle assembly or component installation is a plus
- Knowledge of automotive repair standards and safety protocols
- Ability to read technical manuals and schematics for troubleshooting complex issues
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail for accurate diagnostics and repairs
Pay: $40.00-$50.00 per hour
