The Opportunity
Joining ISRAELLA KOBLA means becoming part of a small, collaborative team where craftsmanship, precision, and attention to detail are at the heart of everything we do. You'll work across both sample development and small-batch production, helping bring thoughtfully designed collections to life while maintaining the highest standards of quality. We're looking for someone who takes ownership of their work, enjoys solving construction challenges, and is always looking for ways to improve their craft.
What You'll Be Doing
- Construct muslin and final samples in accordance with approved specifications and quality standards.
- Construct small-batch production garments while maintaining exceptional standards of quality, consistency, and finishing.
- Review patterns, construction methods, and technical specifications to improve quality, efficiency, and manufacturability.
- Participate in fit sessions and implement approved pattern, fit, and construction revisions.
- Ensure every garment meets ISRAELLA KOBLA's standards for quality, fit, finishing, and presentation.
- Collaborate closely with the Creative Director and production team throughout product development and production.
What We're Looking For
Required Experience
- Minimum 4 years of professional sewing experience within a womenswear production, sample room, or manufacturing environment.
- Advanced knowledge of garment construction, sewing techniques, and garment finishing.
- Experience working with woven and knit fabrics, including organza, leather, satin, and suiting.
- Experience constructing structured garments, including boning and structured bodices.
- Ability to interpret patterns and technical specifications accurately.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
Assets
- Experience participating in garment fittings.
- Previous experience working with a contemporary or luxury fashion brand.
- Proficiency operating single-needle, overlock, coverstitch, and blind hem machines.

Role Details
- Full-time, permanent
- ISRAELLA KOBLA studio, 250 Augusta Avenue, Toronto, ON
- Monday to Friday with occasional overtime during collection launches
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada [Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or holder of a valid work permit]
- Practical sewing assessment during the interview process
