Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the kitchen team, ensuring high standards of food quality and presentation
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and serving processes to maintain consistency and excellence
- Develop and update menus in collaboration with management, incorporating seasonal ingredients and customer preferences
- Ensure compliance with all food safety, handling, and sanitation regulations
- Manage inventory, order supplies, and control food costs effectively
- Train, mentor, and evaluate kitchen staff to promote professional growth and teamwork
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment
- Collaborate with restaurant management to coordinate service flow and address customer feedback
- Uphold hospitality standards by ensuring excellent serving experiences for guests
- Monitor kitchen operations during service hours to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery of dishes
Experience
- Proven supervising experience in a fast-paced restaurant or food service environment
- Extensive background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively
- Previous restaurant management experience preferred
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in the food industry
- Hands-on experience with food handling, menu development, and inventory control
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on teamwork and customer service excellence
Pay: $17.60-$25.00 per hour
