What We’re Looking For
- 1+ year of kitchen experience preferred (motivated beginners welcome)
- Ability to multitask and perform under pressure
- Ability to lift 20-25kg multiple times during the day
- Strong attention to detail and consistency
- Reliable, responsible, and hardworking
- Weekend availability
- Food Safe Level 1 certification (or willingness to obtain—we can help)
- Priority will be given to experienced applicants.
What You’ll Do
- Cook and prepare a variety of food according to production plan and recipes
- Set up workstation with all needed ingredients and equipment
- Prepare ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, trimming, peeling, slicing food items
- Safely use a variety of utensils including knives
- Operate equipment such as ovens, stoves, slicers, mixers, etc.
- Bake, boil and use a variety of cooking methods on meat, vegetables, and other foods
- Properly store food by adhering to food safety standards
- Clean and sanitizes work areas, equipment, and utensils
