Part-Time Child care services Needed – Split Shift (Morning & Afternoon) – Don Mills & Finch Area
We are seeking a reliable, caring, and engaging caregiver to support a family Monday through Friday with a split shift schedule. The primary focus will be on caring for the 4-year-old, with some supervision of our 9-year-old as needed.
Location:
Don Mills & Finch area (North York)
Schedule:
- Monday–Friday
- Morning: 7:45 AM – 11:00 AM
- Afternoon: 3:00 PM – 6:30 PM
Children:
- 4-year-old (primary care focus)
- 9-year-old (light supervision/assistance as needed)
Responsibilities:
- Provide attentive, nurturing care for the 4-year-old
- Plan and engage in age-appropriate activities (play, learning, outdoor time)
- Assist with school/daycare drop-off or pick-up if needed
- Prepare light meals/snacks for the children
- Help with light housekeeping related to the children (tidying toys, children’s dishes, laundry, etc.)
- Afternoon supervision and support with after-school routine
Ideal Candidate:
- Experience with preschool-aged children
- Dependable and punctual, especially for a split shift schedule
- Warm, patient, and engaging
- Comfortable caring for two children when required
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (preferred)
