Job Overview:

Responsibilities:
- Prepare ingredients for the line, including portioning, chopping, cooking and storing food
- Cook over 90 menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
- Follow recipes and presentation specifications
- Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation procedures
- Clean and maintain kitchen stations
Qualifications:
- Proven experience (minimum one year in Canada) as a Line Cook in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Proficient in working with heavy pans (5-6 LBs)
- Proven ability to work on 12 pans at a time
- Understanding of various preparation and cooking methods, equipment, and procedures
- Knowledge of Italian cooking, dishes, and various ingredients is a bonus
- Food Safety Certification and familiarity with kitchen safety protocols
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
