Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service, a strong knowledge of food and beverage operations, and the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. The position involves serving drinks, managing cash transactions, and ensuring food safety standards are maintained.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with recipes and customer preferences
- Use POS systems such as Micros POS for order entry, billing, and cash handling
- Engage with customers to provide excellent service, answer questions, and create a positive experience
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and supplies
- Ensure compliance with food safety and food handling standards at all times
- Manage cash register operations accurately, including cashiering duties and basic math calculations for transactions
- Restock bar supplies as needed and assist with inventory management
- Serve food items when required, supporting overall restaurant operations
- Uphold responsible alcohol service policies and monitor guest consumption for safety
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant or food service experience preferred, especially in bartending or serving roles
- Familiarity with Micros POS or similar cashiering systems is advantageous
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and processing transactions accurately
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Hospitality-oriented mindset with a friendly demeanor and teamwork attitude
- Must be 21 years or older (if applicable by local regulations)
