High-End Millwork Installer / Finish Carpenter
WOODPECKER VENTURES INC. is a growing Calgary-based company specializing in high-end residential and commercial millwork installations, custom carpentry, and renovation projects throughout Alberta.
We are looking for an experienced Millwork Installer / Finish Carpenter who takes pride in quality workmanship, pays close attention to detail, and is comfortable working on premium residential homes and commercial projects.
Important – Travel Requirement
Approximately 50% of our work is located outside of Calgary. Applicants must be willing and able to travel for out-of-town projects.
We provide:
- Travel allowance
- Living Out Allowance (LOA) where applicable
- Company-supported travel arrangements as required

Compensation & Benefits
- $30.00–$40.00 per hour, based on experience

Responsibilities
- Installation of high-end residential and commercial millwork
- Custom cabinetry installation
- Interior doors, hardware and trim installation
- Feature walls, paneling and architectural woodwork
- Custom closets, vanities and built-ins
- Reading and interpreting architectural drawings
- Maintaining a clean, organized and professional job site
- Working independently and as part of a team while maintaining high quality standards
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of professional millwork installation or finish carpentry experience
- Strong knowledge of high-end finish carpentry techniques
- Experience with custom millwork installations
- Ability to read construction drawings and shop drawings
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Professional attitude and strong work ethic
- Reliable, punctual and self-motivated
Requirements
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence
- Clean Driver’s Abstract (required)
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to travel throughout Alberta for project work
- Legally entitled to work in Canada
- Own professional hand tools suitable for finish carpentry
