Summary Statement
The primary role of the Photolithography Technologist is to execute photolithography processes within a manufacturing environment and to support all activities involved in process development, maintaining production throughput, quality and yields.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
-
Preparing and patterning substrates.

Performing visual inspection of products.
-
Performing data entry into various computer programs as required.

Performing shift reports.
-
Following safety procedures as set out in the Health and Safety policy and internal trainings.

Performing lab maintenance and consumable procurement as directed by the Sr. Technologist or Supervisor

Troubleshooting or reporting any equipment or process issues to the Sr. Technologist or Supervisor

Liaising with Engineering, R&D, Planning and Production on any development, scheduling and production matters

Any other duties as assigned by the Sr. Technologist or by the incumbent’s Supervisor
Minimum Qualifications and Skills
-
Graduation from a technical college or the equivalent in a related discipline or the equivalent combination of education and experience.

High attention to detail with the ability to follow procedures consistently & without deviation.

High manual dexterity and ability to handle small precision parts.
-
Ability to see through a microscope.
-
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
-
Ability to work with minimum supervision & under time pressures.

Problem solving skills
Working Condition:

Working in a cleanroom

Frequent exposure to controlled substances

Execution of repetitive tasks, often involving small parts, using a microscope

This position involves significant responsibility and requires independent decision making

Shift will be Mon-Fri evenings (2:00pm-10:30pm)
Type of Supervision Received:
Task assignment is given through the Sr. Technologist or incumbent’s Supervisor. Yearly performance reviews and setting annual performance goals is done together with the incumbent's Supervisor
