Licensed Property Manager – Team‑Based Office
We are a boutique residential property management company in the Greater Victoria area seeking a Property Manager who either holds a Rental Property Management license or has successfully passed the licensing exam and is ready to be licensed.
About the role
In our office, properties are shared rather than assigned to one manager, and we work collaboratively as a team. You will:
- Handle all aspects of residential property management: advertising, showings, screening, lease preparation, inspections, and tenant move‑in/move‑out.
- Respond to owner and tenant inquiries, troubleshoot issues, and help resolve tenancy matters in a fair, professional manner.
- Coordinate maintenance and repairs with vendors, track work orders, and follow up on completion.
- Work closely with other licensed managers and unlicensed administrative staff, sharing information and responsibilities to support the overall portfolio.
What we’re looking for
- Rental Property Management license in BC, or successful completion of the licensing course and exam with eligibility to be licensed.
- Strong teamwork mindset and willingness to collaborate rather than “own” a solo portfolio.
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
- Class 5 driver’s license and reliable vehicle for property visits.
Schedule and expectations
- Full‑time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM.
- Occasional required work on the last day of the month if it falls on a weekend (for key handovers, move‑ins/move‑outs, or time‑sensitive tenancy matters).
- Salary negotiable based on experience
How to apply
Please email your resume and a brief cover letter outlining your licensing status, relevant experience, and why a collaborative, team‑based property management environment appeals to you. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for an interview.
