ASCO Aerospace Canada is a division of Montana Aerospace, with our facility located in Delta, BC. We are looking for Assembler to join our Production team.
Job Duties
- Drill, ream, fit, and assemble a variety of detail aerospace parts according to customer specifications.
- Installation of bushings, bearings, brackets, clips, bolts, and rivets using a variety of hand and power tools
- Installation of fasteners
- Application of sealants
- Support 5S and Lean Manufacturing processes
Educational/Experience Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous, related work in a manufacturing environment is considered an asset
- Preference for candidates with hands-on experience using hand and power tools
- Excellent attention to detail and good organizational skills
- Experience with blue-print reading is a strong asset
- Experience with Aerospace specification and Quality system requirements is a strong asset
- Ability to work safely in an industrial environment, including safe operation of hand and power tools
- Must be willing to work as part of a team
- Ability to work shifts including day, afternoons, nights, and weekends
This is a physically demanding job and requires the following:
- Excellent hand and eye coordination
- Good written and spoken English
- Ability to work on complex assembly for long periods of time
- Ability to lift up to 40lbs
- Use of hand and power tools
