JOB PURPOSE
The Registered Cardiology Technologist Coordinator is responsible for assisting with the day-to-day coordination of the Electrodiagnostic Service as well as performing the duties or a registered cardiology technologist.
QUALIFICATIONS
-
Completion of a recognized Cardiology Technology Program or equivalent.

Must be registered with the Canadian Society of Cardiology Technologists and licensed or eligible to be licensed with the New Brunswick Society of Cardiology Technologists.

Must have two years of clinical experience.

Must have demonstrated supervisory ability.

Ability to attend work on a regular basis.

Ability to perform the duties of the position.

Good work record.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The Registered Cardiology Technologist Coordinator is responsible for:

Assisting with the organization, planning and supervision of the service
-
Performing Administrative tasks to assist with the management of the service
-
Providing staff orientation and participating in staff development programs
-
Performing cardiac diagnostic procedures and tests and preparing reports
-
Maintaining clinical and workload records and documentation
-
Coordinating mentoring and support for students and other health care professionals
