Position Overview
Boom Karaoke is looking for Hosts, Runners, and Bartenders to join our front-of-house team. These roles are ideal for individuals who enjoy customer service, fast-paced environments, and working as part of a collaborative team in an entertainment setting.
Depending on shift needs, you may support guest reception, beverage service, in-room assistance, or general floor operations. The goal is simple: ensure guests feel welcomed, supported, and have a smooth, enjoyable experience throughout their visit.
Responsibilities (May Include)
- Guest Reception & Hosting
Welcome guests, assist with check-ins, explain room details, and help manage guest flow.
- Beverage Service (Bartender Shifts)
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks following house standards.
Deliver drinks and items to rooms, assist with basic room setup, and support ongoing operations.
Help clean and reset rooms between groups and maintain tidy common areas.
- Bookings & Guest Communication
Assist with reservations, phone inquiries, and basic system entries when needed.
Enter orders and bookings accurately using the POS system (cashless environment).
Recommend drink specials, packages, and promotions when appropriate.
Assist coworkers and adapt to operational needs during busy periods.
Requirements
- Experience in hospitality, customer service, or bar service is an asset
- Strong communication skills and a professional, friendly attitude
- Able to multitask and stay organized during peak hours
- Smart Serve Ontario certification (required)

- Cantonese & Mandarin: required
