Terra Vie Landscaping is a Red Seal Certified business looking to hire a person to join the team for the rest of the 2026 season .
For the right candidate, flexibility in scheduling is OK.
Part time, must include availability for Friday's.
Full time hours are 08:00 - 16:00, Monday - Friday.
We are seeking an individual with knowledge of landscape working environments including lawn & garden maintenance and install.
Knowledge of landscaping and garden work is a must.
Details of the position as follows:
- Term of employment: part time, or full time, seasonal
- Salary: $23-$25/hour (depending on experience)

- Hours: 8 – 40 hours a week, depending on projects/jobs
- Location of work: various locations around the Comox Valley (Courtenay, Comox, Cumberland, Royston). You may drive to site yourself OR get a ride in the company truck.
This position will be responsible for the following duties:
- Communication skills are a must
- Assist with maintenance and/or installation of landscaped environments including: lawns, gardens, pruning, hedging, and upkeep other landscape structures such as patios/walkways/etc.
- Safely operate various tools and equipment including: lawnmower, line trimmer, hedge trimmer, blower, shovels, rakes, pruners, ladders, wheelbarrows, etc.
- Perform other manual duties such as lifting heavy & awkward items
- Assist with installation or removal of landscape material
- Assist with completion of jobsite duties
Safety & Company Duties:
- Ensuring safety, quality and productivity of work at sites
- Wear appropriate (PPE) personal protection equipment when required
- Comply with company policies & procedures
- Maintain and enforce standards of cleanliness and organization
- Ensure that all work activities are carried out in a safe and efficient manner, and that all crew members are in compliance with local, provincial and WCB guidelines
- Assist with ongoing training
- Communicate with customers professionally

- Experience with landscaping (must)
- Own a smart phone/data-enabled device for communication/timetracking (must)
- Plant knowledge
- Ability to work outside & in any weather condition (must)
- Physically fit with stamina
- Ability to follow safe working procedures
- Observation skills with attention to detail
