Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and guide them through the menu, highlighting specials and upselling opportunities to enhance their experience
- Take accurate orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems, such as Micros POS, ensuring all details are correct for timely delivery
- Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while providing clear receipts and change
- Maintain a clean and organized work station, adhering to sanitation standards and food handling protocols
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery, supporting overall restaurant operations
- Assist guests with inquiries or concerns promptly to foster guest satisfaction and loyalty
Experience
- Prior food service or restaurant experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key!
- Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, is a plus but training will be provided
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
- Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and basic math for cash handling
- Experience in guest services or hospitality roles that emphasize customer satisfaction and upselling techniques
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude and excellent communication skills
