We are currently seeking hardworking and reliable General Labourers to support residential construction projects in the Montague/Cardigan area. This hands-on role involves assisting with deck construction, foundation work, material handling, and general site support on active residential build sites. Candidates should be comfortable working in a physically demanding outdoor environment and able to work effectively as part of a construction team.
THE JOB
- Assist with residential construction projects including deck builds and structural work
- Support footing installation and ICF foundation installs/repairs
- Measure and cut timber and other building materials
- Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Perform material handling and site preparation duties
- Maintain clean and organized work areas
- Follow all workplace safety procedures and site directions
WHY YOU SHOULD APPLY
- $18.00/hr – $23.00/hr + 4% vacation pay, based on experience
- Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Weekly pay by direct deposit
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on construction experience
- Experience with footings and ICF foundation installation/repair
- Ability to accurately measure and cut building materials
- Comfortable using hand and power tools
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license
- Reliable transportation to work sites
- Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or with a team
