A Project Manager (PM) is responsible for managing complex projects by accurately estimating and completing a detailed scope of work to ensure company profitability.
Job Description
- Using in-house software programs such as PSA, Xactimate, XactAnalysis, Docusketch, Hover, DRS Complete, PSA and Encircle.
- Perform site inspections to assess property and determine requirements to mitigate damage.
- Provide direction and work in a consultative manner with Restoration Technicians and Sub-Trades to determine the appropriate course of action.
- Scope and estimate using in-house estimating software (Xactimate) and coordinate losses in a timely fashion ensuring key performance indicators (KPI's) are met.
- Maintain strong written and verbal communication with clients, insurers, adjusters, subcontractors, homeowners etc. throughout the job.
- Report job progress, monitor job costs and focus on meeting gross margin expectations.
- Collaborate with Scheduling Department to create a budget for all rebuild projects and ensure that various costs are controlled.
- Communicate project completion timelines with customers, insurance adjusters, vendors and sub-trades.
Experience
- Minimum of 3 years experience using XactAnalysis and Xactimate (preferred).
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a Project Manager position in the restoration industry.
- Knowledge of construction best practices.
