Primary Scope of Role:
- Preparation and review of the monthly financial statements
- Manage Monthly balance sheet reconciliation
- Identify trends, risks, and opportunities that may affect the organization's financial performance.
- Performing financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking
- Collecting and compiling data from various sources, ensuring its accuracy and integrity
- Identifying and driving process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, and dashboards
- Participate with financial planning and budgeting process
- Collaborate on project to provide financial insight and support project objectives
Position Requirements:
- Post-secondary degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration.
- Pursuing CPA designation.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of Financial Analyst experience, preferably in Construction or Asphalt industry.
- Excellent communication skills to convey financial information effectively.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Proficient in financial software and MS Excel (pivot tables, lookups, macros).
- Strong attention to detail and capability to identify potential financial risk and opportunities.
What We Offer:
- Expected Base Salary: $70,000 - $75,000 per year. The actual base salary will depend on several factors including experience, qualifications, internal equity, work location and market expectations.
