Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Pizza Maker/Kitchen Helper to join our vibrant restaurant team. This role involves preparing delicious pizzas, assisting with food preparation, and supporting daily kitchen operations to ensure a smooth and efficient dining experience. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service, food safety, and providing excellent customer satisfaction.
Duties
- Prepare pizza dough, toppings, and ingredients according to recipes and quality standards
- Cook pizzas and other menu items using various kitchen equipment
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area in compliance with food safety standards
- Support food handling procedures to ensure hygiene and safety regulations are met
- Serve customers at the counter or assist with take-out orders as needed
- Follow all health and safety guidelines during meal preparation and service
- Help with general kitchen duties including cleaning utensils, equipment, and workstations
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environment preferred but not required
- Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety practices
- Ability to handle food safely and maintain high standards of cleanliness
- Strong serving skills with a friendly attitude towards customers
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Basic understanding of meal preparation and food handling procedures
- Willingness to learn new skills and work collaboratively within a team
