Job Summary
We are seeking a highly knowledgeable and dedicated Registered Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC) to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a thorough understanding of Canadian immigration laws and policies, providing expert guidance and support to clients throughout their immigration journey. This role requires a professional with strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to ethical practices. As an RCIC, you will be responsible for managing client cases, preparing application documentation, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Duties
- Provide expert advice to clients regarding Canadian immigration options, eligibility criteria, and application processes
- Assess client documentation and ensure completeness and accuracy for submission
- Prepare, review, and submit various immigration applications including visas, work permits, study permits, permanent residence, and other related documents
- Stay updated on changes in immigration laws, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance
- Maintain detailed case files and record all client interactions in accordance with regulatory requirements
- Liaise with government agencies and legal professionals as needed to facilitate case progress
- Educate clients on their rights, responsibilities, and the overall immigration process
- Ensure ethical standards are upheld in all client interactions and documentation handling
Skills
- Valid registration as a Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC) with the Immigration Consultants of Canada Regulatory Council (ICCRC)
- In-depth knowledge of Canadian immigration laws, policies, and procedures
- Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal—to effectively advise clients and collaborate with team members
- Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail in case management and documentation
- Ability to interpret complex legal information and explain it clearly to clients
- Proficiency in relevant software tools for case tracking and document preparation
- Ethical integrity and commitment to professional standards in immigration consulting
- Prior experience in immigration consulting or legal support is preferred but not mandatory; training opportunities are available for qualified candidates interested in developing expertise
Pay: $21.00-$24.00 per hour
