Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Store Supervisor to lead our retail team and ensure the smooth operation of our store. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a comprehensive understanding of retail management. Duties
- Supervise daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures
- Lead, motivate, and develop retail staff through effective training and performance management
- Oversee merchandising strategies to optimize product placement and presentation
- Manage POS systems, cash handling, and cashiering functions with accuracy and integrity
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and ensure high levels of customer service
- Develop marketing initiatives to increase store visibility and foot traffic
- Monitor sales performance and implement strategies for continuous improvement
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and health regulations
Qualifications
- Proven supervisory or managerial experience in retail or related fields
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively
- Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus
- Proficiency with POS systems, cash handling, and basic bookkeeping software
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and time management capabilities
- Customer service-oriented mindset with excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills
- Basic math skills for sales analysis and financial reporting
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced retail environment
