Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough client assessments to understand their needs and develop personalized treatment plans
- Provide professional massage therapy sessions utilizing various techniques tailored to individual client requirements
- Maintain accurate and detailed treatment records in compliance with licensing standards
- Educate clients on self-care practices and recommend appropriate follow-up treatments or referrals if necessary
- Ensure a clean, safe, and relaxing environment for all clients by adhering to hygiene and safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with clients to ensure comfort and address any concerns during sessions
- Stay current with industry best practices, new techniques, and continuing education requirements
Experience
- Valid licensure as a Registered Massage Therapist in accordance with state regulations
- Prior experience providing therapeutic massage services is preferred but not required; training will be provided for new graduates
- Familiarity with medical terminology related to health and wellness is advantageous
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and empathetically with diverse clients
- Excellent interpersonal skills to foster trust and build lasting client relationships
- Ability to work independently while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail
Pay: $50.00-$70.00 per hour
